Shipping to Canada and Australia

Japan Post shipping option to Canada and Australia has been suspended from October 2025.

We ask our dear customers to use DHL Express for the shipping!

Please note that this decision has been made after careful consideration, in order to provide our customers with the best service possible. 

Main reasons for the suspension of shipping with Japan Post:

1.    Failed tracking

After the packages have left Japan, everything is handled by the local postal services in the destination countries. Unlike other countries' post offices, Canada Post and Australia Post have proved to be incompatible with international small package tracking. This incompatibility has frequently resulted in delays, delivery problems, and packages being returned to Japan.

2.    Out of our control

Regardless of the above circumstances out of our control, customers have expected us to take responsibility for all delivery-related problems.

3. Losing trust and money

Returned packages make a long journey, often months. Due to the expiry dates of all tea products, we are not able to resell the returned products, but we still have to make the refund to our customers. This is a double financial loss for us, and all happens because of the failed services by Canada and Australia Post. But losing our customers because of the failed delivery hurts definitely the most!

Dear customers from Australia and Canada! Please use DHL Express! 

We have many customers from both countries, so we have tried to keep offering the more economical shipping services through Japan Post as long as possible. However, after struggling with Canada and Australia Post for years, we have found it better to limit shipping to DHL Express.
